Nicole McPhee has been with New Mexico Bone and Joint Institute since 2015. She is a board certified family nurse practitioner with over 13 years of experience in caring for patients of all ages.
Nicole was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2003 she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from one of the top 20 nursing schools in the country, the University of Missouri. Nicole was an active leader on campus during her undergraduate years and spent much of her time volunteering in the local community. She completed her graduate training and education as Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Alabama in 2007. Nicole continued to pursue volunteer opportunities during her graduate training as well, and was one of the first health care providers to respond to the community of New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Nicole has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in many parts of the country. She has spent time working in Mississippi where she provided care for the Mississippi State football and basketball teams. She has also worked in Phoenix, Arizona and Salt Lake City, UT. She has experience in multiple medical disciplines to include sports medicine, family practice, cardiology and critical care.
Nicole enjoys traveling and enjoying outdoor activities with her husband and young children when she is not at work.
